Child Watch Resource
Convenient in-house childcare is available to parents while they exercise or participate in a program.
Program Details
Our child watch area is conveniently located close to the Fitness Center and Group Exercise room. Our trained staff engages the children in fun and play while you enjoy your visit at the Y.
Simply purchase a punch card from the Member Services Desk and drop off your child in the Child Watch room during available hours.
Rules:
- For ages 6 months – 10 years old.
- Parent or guardian must remain on Y property.
- A child may stay up to two hours.
- Available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There can be a maximum of 10 kids in Child Watch at one time.
HOURS:
Monday & Wednesday 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM & 4:00 – 7:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Friday – 8:30 – 11:30 AM
NOTE: If Child Watch is cancelled due to weather or a last-minute staff cancelation and we are unable to find a sub, we will post this announcement on our Y Facebook page. Please call 812-828-9622 ext. 101 if you have questions regarding weather cancellations.
