Build Self-Esteem Through Movement!

Explore tap, gymnastics, hip hop, and cheer with YMCA youth instructors. This program runs during the school year and ends with a recital at the Tivoli in May. We do not accept new students March – May as instructors are preparing students for the recital.
There is a separate fee for the recital costume. You can pick up an informational handout for each class at Member Services.

Recommended Apparel

For the first class, don’t worry if you are unable to find the recommended clothes. Attend in something form-fitting that allows for movement.
Our dance and gymnastics staff suggests you consider Discount Dance Supply for clothing and especially footwear.

There will be a dance recital in May at the Tivoli, so it is important that students regularly attend practices unless they are ill.
